Privacy information
Owner action required before public launch: add the responsible operator's legal name, postal address, privacy contact and the hosting provider. This technical draft is not legal advice.
Local use without an account
The trainer stores learning progress, review dates, settings, the selected mode and recent flag-confusion counts in your browser's local storage. An account is not required. The in-app reset clears learning progress and review dates. To remove all local preferences and confusion counts as well, use your browser's site-data controls; deleting an account also removes that account's server data and local namespace.
Optional account and synchronization
If you create or use an account, the service processes your email address, optional display name, login credentials or Google sign-in identity, and your learning progress and settings. Authentication uses session and security cookies. Account data can be exported or deleted from the Account screen.
Services loaded by the app
The map library, country-boundary data and flag images are bundled with the trainer and served from this website. Opening a quiz therefore does not contact a map, flag or content-delivery provider. Your browser may retain requested assets in the app's service-worker cache so they can load faster or remain available offline. Google receives data only if you explicitly choose Google sign-in.
The bundled map and flag assets are open-source. Their license notices are available with the local Leaflet and flag-icons copies.
Server logs and hosting
Normal web-server and security logs may include IP address, time, requested path, response status and browser metadata. Owner action required: document the actual retention period, legal basis, recipients, hosting location and any backups.
Your choices and rights
You can use the trainer locally, export your account data, reset learning progress and delete an account. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to contact a supervisory authority.
